Surfing in Indonesia

Sorry for the radio silence here on my blog lately! Hopefully you've been following along our latest adventures on Instagram because Zach and I have been traveling so much recently! Our latest trip was different than any other trip we've ever done, and I couldn't wait to tell you guys about it! A group of us went to Lombok and Nusa Lembongan with MojoSurf for a surf camp! It was SO much fun and such a memorable experience! We got to hang with such a cool group of people from all over the world and surf some of the most iconic spots in Indonesia! Zach and I both have surfed a handful of times before, but we've never done a proper camp before and it was such a great way to get some one-on-one attention + advice. It really helped me to be able to improve and feel much more confident in the water! :)

The trip also gave me a great excuse to wear some of my new swimwear from Cynthia Rowley's latest surf collection! I am in love! To be honest-- I never quite understood why you'd need a special surf suit besides just wearing a rash guard while surfing, but now I totally get it. A few days I wore my suits from Cynthia Rowley and another day I just wore one of my usual suits, and it was such a hassle. It doesn't stay in place as well and the last thing you want to worry about when trying to surf is your bathing suit falling off, haha!
