Mixing Patterns

Happy (almost) June, everyone!! June makes me so excited because SUMMER... and summer in NYC is my absolute favorite! Outdoor brunches, rooftop happy hours, central park picnics, Rockaway beach days, and fun summer prints + patterns-- what's not to love?! One thing you will for sure find me doing this summer is mixing patterns within my wardrobe. ((Side note-- Zach is also known for mixing patterns as a part of his "vacation wardrobe" aka his pineapple print top and Hawaiian bathing suit trunks with skulls becomes his favorite outfit... this is not what I am recommending to do, LOL!)) A subtle mix of prints is more of what I can handle, and for this look in particular I paired my striped Cistar blazer with my floral embroidered OTS top from Rove. Pairing the two felt fun and summery, but not over the top...sorry, Zach! ;) The cropped length of this top went great with my high rise Madewell kickflares, and the length of these jeans perfectly showed off my new peep toe heels from Superdry. To accessorize my look, I wore a leather choker, my Timex watch, and carried my latest Hieleven HALO crossbody. I cannot get enough of this crossbody-- It is my new fav edition to my handbags! It's minimal and sleek, but still super functional with tons of interior space for all the essentials I need to carry from day to day.

I am so excited about getting into my summer wardrobe and brightening up my closet a bit! Do any of you guys have exciting summer plans coming up?! Zach and I will be in Puerto Rico in a week and a half and I cannot waaiiitt!!!
