There is seemingly no end to the beautiful islands of the Indian Ocean, and we recently visited Africa’s Mauritius Island— a front runner on the list of these tropical paradise destinations! Sitting 703 miles off the eastern coast of Madagascar, this stunning little 720 square mile oasis is a destination we fell in love with from the moment we arrived. No matter where you choose to stay in Mauritius depending on your preferences, you basically cannot go wrong! We also loved being able to get a taste of all sides of the island, so if you have the time to hop around a bit as well we highly recommend it! There are so many gorgeous beaches along the coastline in Mauritius, and we loved seeing the variety of hotels along those beaches.
