Shea Butter Hand Cream
I'll never forget Bula. Bula was a beautiful woman I used to work with at a denim company here in NYC. She was one of the technical designers and I was the fit model. Bula was in her late 60's and had been working in the fashion industry for over half of her life! She'd been a designer, a patternmaker, and even a seamstress. ((She was pretty amazing, right?!)) However despite having done all of this which all require a LOT of work with your hands, she had the most beautiful hands I'd ever seen! I know It sounds crazy, but they always stood out to me. She told me that as you get older your hands are an easy place to show your age, so it's important to always take good care of them and keep them moisturized. I'll never forget her advice, which is why when I found the perfect shea butter hand cream from L'Occitane, I was completely obsessed! Trying on clothes literally all day long with fabrics that are rough and often times unwashed and very stiff, make my hands super dry and rough. On top of all of that, the winters in NYC and the wind whipping through the buildings constantly doesn't help the dryness either... Keeping my hands moisturized and smooth makes all the difference! Luckily there are two sizes available in this hand cream— I have both! A larger size for $28 that I leave on my bedside table, and a smaller travelsize for $12 that's the perfect size to keep in my purse at all times. If you can't tell already, I am hooked on this stuff and would never share a product with you guys that I didn't truly love!! :)
If you guys give it a try, let me know what you think!! You can purchase it at any Sephora! (Also— here's the link!)
